Know Your Market

Where does your business fit in? What market are you targeting to reach in order to sell your products or services? You should perform a thorough review of your market and targeted customers as well.

Know Your Customers

What is your normal customer like? Where do they live? What do they drive? What motivates them to buy from you? How can you capitalize better on this information and make even more money?

Know Your Business

How does your business operate? On what premises do you build your schedule and provide products or services? Knowing your business better than anyone will help answer these questions.

Know Your Options

Do you pursue more of an online business is it locally based or a mix of both? What will happen if your only operate online? What about if you ignore the online market? What will happen to your business? What options are there for you to make decisions to grow your business?

Grow Your Business

Now that you can answer the basics above, you can begin to take action and grow your business. Place an emphasis on the efforts that bring you new business. Maintain a strong customer commitment so that your existing customers will keep coming back.

Using these principles, you can build and grow your business. One other effort that is worthwhile: check into a GPS tracking device for your most expensive assets. This is true if you have company vehicles or other assets that are used outside of the walls of your business. Being able to track your assets to within a few feet will help protect you in case of theft or other abuse of your property. It is worth the investment, you will see.
